Emergency Medicine Consultant (FACEM) Goldfields Region, WA Salary: $395,490 – $502,265 p.a. (Consultant Year 1–9, inclusive of base salary, 12% superannuation & applicable allowances) We are supporting the WA Country Health Service (WACHS) in the recruitment of Emergency Medicine Consultants (FACEMs) to join the dynamic team serving the Goldfields region. You’ll lead, support, and educate multi-disciplinary teams, including Senior Medical Practitioners, Junior Medical Officers, nurses, administrators, and support staff. Collaboration is central to this role—you’ll work closely with the Royal Flying Doctor Service , Rural Clinical School of WA , and the WACHS Command Centre , responding to a wide range of complex and unique presentations. The Emergency Department is the primary emergency care hub for the entire Goldfields region , managing over 25,000 presentations annually. With approximately 25% of patients identifying as Aboriginal , your work will directly contribute to improving health equity and delivering culturally responsive care. The ED operates 24/7 on a rotating roster that includes: 08:00–18:00 10:00–20:00 13:00–23:00 , with On-call coverage from 23:00–08:00 What’s on Offer: Total remuneration : $395,490 – $502,265 p.a.
